About This Game METAGAL is an 2D platformer action game.You will take the shoes of "Meta" ,a cyborg girl, in her quest to rescue her Creator "Dr Ray" from the hands of "General Creeper", the evil leader of a rogue army!!Also Metagal's sisters, were kidnapped by Creeper: he turned them in battle cyborgs, in order to use their powers to rule the world!! What I mean with this is that theres very little amount of sounds, and at times it makes the game feel really muted and barren.Stage design can be completely unbalanced at times. You will be on situations where you cant really see beforehand whats you have to do.The weapons from the bosses are not very good for regular use except for one (1 of 4 weapons). However the game will require you to use all of them to get past some areas, so they didnt go to waste completely.Besides that, the music is nice and the boss fights are actually good.The controls are very good, but the movement has a "light" feeling.Also once you beat the game once you can choose from 4 additional characters to play the game again, tough the stages arent fun enough to warrant you will play the game over again.In the end its just an average game, definitely not worth $4 (maybe 1 or 2) considering theres games out there for the same price with more attention to detail and better game design overall.. I found METAGAL to be an extremly fun game. The game obviously looks and feels a lot like the Megaman X games, but it manages to have some pretty original platforming puzzles and weapons. I won't go into specifics (don't want to spoil anything) but GAL04's weapon is one of the most fun powerups I've ever used in a video game.I have seen a few people complaining about METAGAL's difficulty, but I actually find the game to be exactly as difficult as I want it to be. I would say its worth the price.. Feels just like you would expect it to. Just wish it supported DirectInput controllers.. I bought this game while waiting for Mighty No. 9 in an attempt to try a classic megaman game. With that said this game will deliver on a Megaman feel now that the gun energy resource has been buffed but for the people looking for a Megaman game, don't do this to yourself. Play a megaman game not a immitator. For the price its really nice. bad control. i have played the game oviously and the game is pretty good i aint good at megaman 1 and i can tell this tock alot of insperation from megaman franchise but this is megaman 1 with a girl i mean gal and with megaman x dash jump and alot of refrences to how megaman was inspired from anime and dr ray aka ray from mighty no9 now i like the game but its way to hard i think a checkpoint thing should be in the game for new pepole but not give them achivements for beating the game on easy because i got this game for my sister and she put the gamedown in 5 minutes and i been trying all the stages and cant beat one maybe a guide could be helpful but i try avoid guides so i rate this game for now 5/10 sorry personal rateing. Very Mega Man in many ways! Obviously an homage to the blue bot, this game challenges you just like the old days. Spikes and pitfalls, enemies that sprout up from no where, and descent boss battles will have you tearing your hair out...but in a good way ;) Controls still need a little work, more so with the placement of the dash button on the gamepad, but other than that it works just fine. Character designs are cute and the story is very familiar if your a MM fan like myself. Definitely worth a buy if you ask me! :D. When a game gets frustrating, it looses it's charm. It is a megaman clone, and the idea is very good. close to a MMX experience,HOW-e-VERwhen a game crosses the line between challenging and frustrating, the charm is lost. the game is memorable for how much rage it generated! a little better level design could have gone a VERY long way... if its a bit of a challenge to get to the platforms just to be able to clear the stage... yeah, that may need some tweaking! Bosses are OK, but need a little balancing. I hate to sound like im just... complaining (cause I dont want to use the term in my head) but i really wanted to like this one, and it just frustrated the hell out of me!
